At Sunrise, we’re always hiring people with skills in home care, supported living, community placement, and behavioral health care. Here are some of our current job openings:

Home Care Aide

Make a tangible difference in people’s lives as a Home Care Aide! Sunrise’s Home Care team is always hiring people to care for seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. These jobs can include housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, assistance with feeding, personal care, toileting, positioning, and driving clients to medical appointments and shopping.

Our current pay range for home care aides is $19.00-$21.05/hour, depending on experience and certifications. If you already have a CNA or HCA-C certification, you can make more. We offer our employees medical, dental, a 401(k), paid vacation, sick pay, holidays, and other benefits.

We also offer paid training! Sunrise has our own State-Approved and Accredited, 75-hour home care aide training program with an excellent training team. We’ll help you earn your certification!

To work as a home care aide for Sunrise, you must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License, reliable transportation, proof of valid automobile insurance, and the ability to pass a DSHS criminal background check.

Community Living Facilitator

Want to help adults with developmental disabilities live their best lives? This is the job for you! Our Supported Living team is hiring Community Living Facilitators to provide support for daily living tasks.

These jobs can involve making periodic visits to clients’ homes to monitor their health and safety, working direct care shifts, maintaining positive relationships with the clients’ families, collaborating with The Urgent Call Center to solve problems, responding to client emergencies, and other tasks to help improve clients’ quality of life.

Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans, paid vacation and sick leave, holiday pay, Basic Life & AD&D insurance, 401(k) with a 50% match, a college savings plan, and many more benefits. Pay depends on the job location and schedule — after-hours facilitators can make more.

To work as a community living facilitator, you need at least a high school diploma, experience working with people with developmental disabilities, the ability to pass a criminal background check, a current valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record. You will need to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor Certification within 6 months of being hired. We prefer candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or a related field and MS Office experience.

Mental Health Professional

Our behavioral health team is continually hiring mental health professionals to work on site with our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team. We need professionals with a Master’s degree or higher to provide treatment in accordance with the evidence-based practice recovery model.

Mental health professionals at Sunrise can earn up to $6,000 in client retention bonuses, on top of the base hourly rate. Employment Specialist

Our community placement team is hiring employment specialists to help adults with mild to severe diabilities find and keep jobs. This role includes providing job coaching, job development, and facilitating supported-employment activities.

We currently offer $18-20 per hour as base pay. Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans, paid vacation and sick leave, holiday pay, Basic Life & AD&D insurance, 401(k) with a 50% match, a college savings plan, and many more!

To work as an employment specialist, you need at least a high-school diploma, 1-3 years of experience in vocational services, the ability to pass a DSHS background check, a current valid Washington State driver’s license, reliable transportation, an acceptable driving record, and $50,000 automobile liability insurance. You must also be registered to work in the field.
