Career Growth Opportunities
At Sunrise, we pay for many of our employees’ initial licensing and continuing education requirements. If you start a caregiving job with us, we pay you to earn your Washington state HCA-C license and pay for CE (Continued Education) training for license renewal.
Working at Sunrise also means you’re not stuck in your current role. We often promote from within, and many of our employees have held a variety of roles at Sunrise. In fact, some of our directors started in entry-level positions in their departments. This is a place where you really can start from the bottom and work your way up!
For instance, let’s say you join the Supported Living program as an entry-level Direct Support Professional. From there, you can potentially grow and be promoted into a leadership position as a Direct Care Supervisor. From there, you can become a Program Manager. This kind of career trajectory is not uncommon for Sunrise employees who seek out opportunities to grow.
Our company holds regular trainings to help you develop your skills. We also conduct annual reviews for our employees. Your manager can help you find more opportunities to grow your career based on your goals.

As a full-time employee, you get:

We also offer voluntary accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and discounted pet insurance coverage.
If you want to, you can contribute to a 529 college savings plan. We have a program you can enroll in for dedicated legal assistance and identity theft protection.
All part-time and full-time employees also get paid sick leave and vacation time, which you accrue throughout the year.
